Who runs DarkLink
I’m Jason Blackwood. I spend most of my time tracing how hidden wiki indexes get built, abandoned, cloned, and quietly replaced. Seattle is home base, but the work happens wherever Tor nodes, scraped directories, and leaked admin logs overlap.
I don’t sell access, and I don’t run a marketplace. DarkLink exists because most “deep web guides” repeat the same five onion names and call it research. That’s not enough when link rot kills half a directory in a month.
What I actually do here
The site covers three things that keep changing faster than most write-ups admit.
Hidden wiki structure — how indexes are organized, who updates them, and why mirrors drift apart.
Link verification — checking whether a listed service still responds, what it serves now, and whether it matches the description.
Source tracing — figuring out where a claim about a dark web site came from, and whether the original still exists.
I publish short field notes, longer breakdowns of specific directories, and occasional roundups of dead or hijacked links. No tutorials for buying anything illegal, no “top 10 hitmen” lists. The goal is to make exploration less random and less dependent on screenshots from 2019.
How I handle sources
I treat every hidden wiki entry as a claim, not a fact. Before writing about a service or index, I check the current response, compare it against archived copies when possible, and note what changed. If I can’t verify something directly, I say so and explain what’s missing.
I don’t log into markets, don’t make purchases, and don’t interview vendors. That keeps the research focused on structure and availability, not on vouching for what a site claims to sell.

Scam indexes that repackage dead links as “verified” lists.
